Our work ready offer is about providing work skills for the unemployed and job seekers.
Work ready is designed to meet the needs of all learners no matter how old they are, the level of their current knowledge and skills, or their career ambitions. We have the building blocks you need to help learners get into sustainable work and, once in place, to keep them there.
Our Employability Skills (5546) qualifications are designed to support individuals in learning, and to develop the key skills, qualities and attitudes required by all employers.
The qualifications are:
- easy to understand, simple and flexible to deliver
- able to offer straightforward, reliable and pain-free administration
- supported with advice and expertise from our Technical Advisors and Industry Manager
- available for funding individuals aged 19+

- supported by a full range of support materials and online tools
Our work ready offer
Employability and personal development qualification – providing skills such as CV writing, preparing for employment and enterprise. It also includes units on work experience.
Short courses and vocational skills – we offer the widest range of short courses and vocational qualifications to develop key skills for work.
Skills for working life (4807) – designed to support you with the personal and work-related skills in the land sector that could enable you to progress into further learning or supported employment, or enhance your independent living skills.
